Lynn Izzard is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (www.crpo.ca), she is considerate, attentive, warm, and empathetic. She has a special interest in working with individuals (16+).

Lynn’s style is solution-focused, building upon your strengths so you may step outside the symptoms of your life’s challenges and towards recovering and restoring your overall well-being. Lynn seeks to cultivate hope, choice, and resilience so that you may feel and know wellness.

Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are just a few of the symptoms that can linger after stress and tragic events. Lynn wants to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

As Gabor Maté reminds us,

“Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside you”.

In distinguishing the event(s) from the person, we may begin the walk toward self-healing and self-love. In accepting that ‘we’ are not our circumstance, we rise and become better able to secure a sense of connection with our loved ones; the foundation of traumatic growth.

Lynn intends to provide a neutral safe space; listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan for both immediate and long-term support.

She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University plus she has additional training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Suicide Prevention, Cultural Competency, and Behavioural Psychology.

Lynn will be accepting new clients for appointments starting in January 2023. If you wish to book with Lynn please contact Admin at info@julieclarketherapy.com to secure your spot.

Session fee’s are $100.00 per session.
