Virtual group for spouses and partners of deployed military members.

PURPOSE:

Deployments are one of the most stressful events for military families. This counselling group for spouses and partners of deployed members provides support, coping and communication strategies and help build resiliency skills.

Content:

  • Understanding the emotional cycle of deployment
  • Exploring negative thought
  • Building resiliency
  • Communication throughout the deployment
  • Preparing for the return home

When: 12 sessions, bi-Monthly. Starting this winter, date TBC

Where: Virtual group

Time: 17h30 to 19h00
